Donations to Fire Victims
Sally Ride Science will be collecting donations for the fire victims during the festival at USD.
Drop boxes will be available at check-in, please bring donations with you if you would like to contribute.
Donations will benefit the Jamul neighborhood and the Jamul-Dulzura School District in Eastern San Diego, which suffered major damages by the fire and left many without their homes.
Donations will be sent to the Jamul Community Church for distribution ( www.jamulfirehelp.org, 619-669-7203 for more info).
New or gently used item in the form of the following will be GREATLY appreciated:
- Mattress and bed frame set (please do not drop off; call only)
- Comforters, sheet sets, blankets, towels, bath mats
- Dressers
- Portable heaters
- Music cds & players
- Toys
- Games
- Trash cans (outdoors & indoors)
- Toaster, crock pot, coffee pot, microwave, blender
- Bookshelves
- Clocks, mirrors, lamps
- Tools & power tools
- Blow dryers
- Computers, printers, telephones, clock radios
- Camera
- Kids clothes
- Diapers
- Gift cards
- Dishes, utensils, cups, mugs
- School supplies
- Toiletries
- Gift cards
- Monetary donations
